Definition - What’s PCW paper?
Post-consumer waste paper is produced from paper that comes out of your office or home recycle bin, for example your office papers, books or magazines. In other words, the paper has reached the end consumers (like all of us) and then been turned back into paper.
Advantages - How does using PCW paper help the environment and climate?
The more post-consumer waste (PCW) recycled content there is in a sheet of paper means the less virgin paper pulp from trees, also reduce water consumption when manufacture papers.
It creates a demand for the paper we recycle, thereby closing the recycling loop. Just imagine that the bags on your hand, maybe is made of your recycling magazines or office papers.
